Proteomic characterization of alveolar bones in oral surgery represents an analytical challenge due to their insoluble character. The implementation of a straightforward technique could lead to the routine use of proteomics in this field. This work thus developed a simple technique for the characterization of bone tissue for human maxillary and mandibular bones. It is based on the direct in-bone tryptic digestion of proteins in both healthy and pathological human maxillary and mandibular bone samples. The released peptides were then identified by the LC-MS/MS. Using this approach, a total of 1120 proteins were identified in the maxillary bone and 1151 proteins in the mandibular bone. The subsequent partial least squares–discrimination analysis (PLS-DA) of protein data made it possible to reach 100% discrimination between the samples of healthy alveolar bones and those of the bone tissue surrounding the inflammatory focus. These results indicate that the in-bone protein digestion followed by the LC-MS/MS and subsequent statistical analysis can provide a deeper insight into the field of oral surgery at the molecular level. Furthermore, it could also have a diagnostic potential in the differentiation between the proteomic patterns of healthy and pathological alveolar bone tissue. Raman spectroscopy/mapping is used to investigate the variation of Si phonon wavenumbers, i.e., lower wavenumber (LW ~ 495–510 cm−1) and higher wavenumber (HW ~ 515–519 cm−1) phonons, observed in Si–SiO2 multilayer nanocomposite (NCp) grown using pulsed laser deposition. Sensitivity of Raman spectroscopy as a local probe to surface/interface is effectively used to show that LW and HW phonons originate at surface (Si–SiO2 interface) and core of Si nanocrystals, respectively. The consistent picture of this understanding is developed using Raman spectroscopy monitored laser heating/annealing and cooling experiment at the site of the desired wavenumber, chosen with the help of Raman mapping. Raman spectra calculations for Si41 cluster with oxygen and hydrogen termination show strong mode at 512 cm−1 for oxygen terminated cluster corresponding to the vibration of surface Si atoms. This supports our attribution of LW phonons to be originating at the Si–SiO2 surface/interface. These results along with XPS show that nature of interface (oxygen bonding) in turn depends on the size of nanocrystals and LW phonons originate at the surface of smaller Si nanocrystals. This research presents an analytical study of the interaction problem of an edge dislocation with a circular inclusion with a circumferentially inhomogeneously imperfect interface. The interface, which is modeled as a spring (interphase) layer with vanishing thickness, is characterized by that in which there is a displacement jump across the interface in the same direction as the corresponding tractions, and the same degree of imperfection is realized in both the normal and tangential directions. Furthermore, the interface parameter is nonuniform along the interface. In order to arrive at an elementary form solution, we introduce a conformal mapping function. Then the stress field as well as the Peach–Koehler force acting on the edge dislocation can be obtained from the derived complex potentials. Calculations demonstrate that the nonuniform interface parameter has a significant influence on the stress field. 相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the concepts of weakly R-KKM mappings, R-convex and ,R-β-quasiconvex in general topological spaces without any convex structure. Relating to these, we obtain an extension to general topological spaces of Fan's matching theorem, namely that Lemma 1.2 in this paper. On this basis, two intersection theorems are proved in topological spaces. By using intersection theorems, some minimax inequalities of Ky Fan type are also proved in topological spaces. A technique using a single CCD camera, a precision rotation/translation stage, a telecentric zoom lens, and digital image
correlation software is described for measuring surface profiles and surface plastic strain distributions of a bent thin sheet.
The measurement principles, based on both parallel and pinhole perspective projections, are outlined and the relevant mathematical
equations for computing the profiles and displacement fields on a curved surface are presented. The typical optical setup
as well as the experimental measurement and digital image correlation analysis procedure are described. The maximum errors
in the in-plane and out-of-plane coordinates or displacements are about ±5 and ±25 μm, respectively, and the maximum errors
in surface strain mapping are about 0.1% or less based on a series of evaluation tests on flat and curved sample surfaces
over a physical field of view of 15.2 × 11.4 mm2. As an application example, the shape and surface plastic strain distribution example, the shape and surface plastic strain
distributions around a bent apex of a flat 2 mm thick automotive aluminum AA5182-O sheet, which underwent a 90° bend with
